Numerous studies have shown that medication adherence is a major part of staying healthy. Patients who save money on their prescription drugs by buying them through Canadian online pharmacies may be able to better achieve this goal. Additionally, staying well means getting regular exercise, a fact that was recently reinforced by a study from scientists at Stockholm University and the Karolinska Instituet.
Lead authors Ulrica von Thiele and Henna Hasson published their paper in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. The researchers reported that employees who devote time to physical activity at work can save money and be more productive.
The team surveyed two dental care workplaces, where individuals were asked to spend 2.5 hours working out each week. Another group was given the option of exercising, while a third group were simply asked to maintain their usual work hours.
Although all three groups were able to maintain or increase their level of productivity, those who engaged in physical activity reported getting more done, having a greater work capacity and avoiding sickness better than those who did not exercise.
