Individuals who buy Plavix may reduce their risk of experiencing a heart attack. This condition is a leading cause of death in the U.S. According to a recent article published in the journal Heart, people who experience a heart attack in the morning are more likely to be seriously affected.
Researchers in Madrid, Spain, analyzed data on 811 heart attack patients who were admitted to the coronary care unit at Hospital Clinico San Carlos between 2003 and 2009. They evaluated levels of enzyme release in order to calculate the size of the dead tissue, or infarct, that resulted from experiencing the heart attack.
A total of 269 patients experienced the event in the morning. These individuals had a 20 percent larger area of infarct than participants who had a heart attack during any other time of day.
"If confirmed, these results may have a significant impact on the interpretation of clinical trials of cardioprotective strategies in [this type of] myocardial infarction," the researchers explained.
Patients who buy Plavix from a Canadian internet pharmacy may not only be decreasing their likelihood of having a heart attack, but can also save a substantial amount of money on the medications they need.
