New research may offer fresh insight into mental disorders

Schizophrenia is a serious mental disorder that affects over 2.5 million Americans, according to the National Institute on Mental Health. In the absence of a permanent cure, these patients are compelled to buy Zyprexa or other medications, but scientists are hard at work to gain better insight into mental disorders and new forms of treatment.
For example, researchers at the University of Missouri Brain Imaging Center (BIC) conducted a study that used magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to probe the structure and function of the brain during mental tasks in order to better understand abstract working memory. Recent academic work has found that individuals affected by disorders such as schizophrenia may have lower working memory capacity.
"This research has given us better understanding of an area of the brain that may be affected in people with [not just schizophrenia but also] various learning disabilities [and] autism," said Nelson Cowan, director of the BIC and Curator's Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences.
In the meantime, individuals who have to buy Zyprexa may save on their medication bills by shopping at a Canadian online pharmacy. These facilities employ highly-trained professionals that can help answer patient questions, and they deliver medications quickly and safely to customers' homes.
