With the price of medication skyrocketing all over the country, it's no wonder that smart shoppers are turning to Canadian online pharmacies for great deals.
With the price of medication skyrocketing all over the country, it's no wonder that smart shoppers are turning to Canadian online pharmacies for great deals. Purchasing prescription drugs can be an intimidating process, but with the availability of inexpensive drugs on the internet, it has become less of a hassle for many.
A new tool created by Drugs.com is working toward the same goal of facilitating drug shopping for consumers. The Pill Identifier - which can be used online or offline - may be downloaded for the iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, and presents a wealth of information on drug names, imprints, shapes and colors.
According to company CEO Phillip Thornton, the tool may not just help improve convenience and organization for patients.
"The app will be useful for law enforcement agencies and emergency workers requiring quick access to the Pill Identification tool without being reliant on an internet connection," he said, quoted by Drugs.com.
Meanwhile, another application created by WebMD is helping patients search for drug information in a wide database, which lists uses, side effects and warnings.
The power of such resources - and the ability to buy inexpensive medications through Canadian online pharmacies - may make the process of drug shopping easier than ever before.
