For those who are looking to save money on the drugs they need, doing a little research on Canadian online pharmacies might be a great way to find significant discounts. These companies often have a wealth of offerings that are accompanied by reasonable costs.
Recently, drug database developer Elsevier/Gold Standard launched a new pricing tool called ProspectoRx, which aims to provide the most up-to-date information on the cost of medications for customers.
Experts say that in the competitive drug market, where prices frequently change, helping patients access the most current and accurate data may help them make cost-effective choices. The new tool features the use of Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) information to present the latest prices to users.
"Customers requested to make their analysis of markets and pricing faster and easier," said Kay Morgan, senior vice president of Elsevier/Gold Standard. "The addition of FSS will further aid them with the pricing analysis that they need to make decisions and to form the right strategies."
ProspectoRx includes information on both brand-name and generic drugs, and notifies customers when a pricing change occurs. The website also includes data such wholesale acquisition cost, federal upper limit and direct price.
