Adults who want to improve their cholesterol levels can buy Canadian Lipitor and remember to get adequate amounts of exercise. Parents may decide to make exercise a family activity by including the children. However, they may be met with some resistance.
"If you say, 'We're going to take the kids out for a walk this evening,' most kids are going to say, 'Wait, we have to leave the video games or television?'" said Michael Berry of Wake Forest University, as quoted by HealthDay. "Kids like to play games, they like to be engaged, so exercise needs to be something that is sports-oriented or game-oriented."
Children and adolescents should engage in at least one hour of physical activity every day, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Simple activities may include taking nature hikes and walking to school, around the neighborhood or on the way to an age-appropriate fitness excursion, such as indoor rock-climbing. In order to engage the kids more effectively, parents can ask them to come up with their own list of preferred exercises, Berry said. Outdoor activities are best, but if children are insistent on playing games indoors, parents should encourage using more active games, such as "Just Dance" on the Wii system.
Parents should also encourage their children to participate in junior league sports such as soccer or basketball.
