People who suffer from diabetes can buy Actos in order to improve their glucose control and can save a significant amount of money by using a Canadian online pharmacy. In order to properly fight the disease, it's best that diabetic patients receive their diagnosis early enough and begin treatment as soon as possible.
A recent study published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology found that a woman's risk of developing diabetes during pregnancy could be determined up to seven years before she conceives. The researchers studied more than 580 women and found that those with abnormally high levels of blood sugar and body weight had a 4.6-fold increased risk of developing gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).
Women who are affected by GDM are also more likely to develop type 2 diabetes after their pregnancy, which is why it is important to look at possible treatment options.
"Our study indicates that a woman's cardio-metabolic risk profile for factors routinely assessed at medical visits such as blood sugar, high blood pressure, cholesterol and body weight can help clinicians identify high-risk women to target for primary prevention or early management of GDM," said lead author Monique Hedderson, a research scientist at the Kaiser Permanente Division of Research.
